Bios stands for Basic Input and Output Devices.
MEANING OF BIOS.
Computer BIOS is the small software that load first before any other kind of software loads. In computer system there are high level software and low level software. BIOS is the low level software. Also BIOS can be defined as the software that loads first before operations system of computer start (load). BIOS chip is the chip that control all functions that are carried out by BIOS.

BIOS is very important low level software because it control all hardware components it computer designing system components.

BIOS is the very low level small software and its has approximately the size of 16MB (Megabytes).This prove that the software is very small in size but its do very sensitive and big work of management of hardware components. The fail of BIOS must result the failure of the whole computer. When BIOS fail the computer will never start up but sometime it may start with black screen with no any function carried out but only rotation of computer fan.

BIOS has the big function of management and control the flow of data, BIOS manage and control the flow of data between operation system and computer hardware components.

Configurations of all computer hardware components are carried out in BIOS setup. Some of the hardware components configured in BIOS are MOUSE, KEYBOARD, HARD DISK DRIVE, CD/DVD ROM.
3. SET UP OF TIME AND DATE.
All set of time and date are usually carried up on BIOS panel of a computer system.
4. RESET PASSWORD.
BIOS, Basic Input and Output Devices has the very big function of reset password. Sometime a computer use may forget the password made for security purposes, the only best and simple options is to reset bios in order to remove that password.
